Speaker Bio:

David de Souza is an experienced and certified freelance project management specialist with a professional journey that is worth sharing.

After completing his degree in accounting with a minor in information technology and becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he went on to practice as a financial and cost accountant at a Fortune 100 company.

Seeking a challenging opportunity, after about five years, he left the field of accounting and finance and became a quality assurance specialist for a software company that specialized in financial and imaging applications. It was during his stay at this company that he became interested in project management. He saw it as a means to developing a structured approach to quality assurance, systems analysis and design, and consulting.

Since then, his career spanned a variety of industries and international opportunities, managing projects of up to 200 million dollars in value.

De Souza will share with us his journey from finance and accounting to project management, and how he believes that project management is the glue that holds together all operational activities in an organization.
